About Numerical Weather Prediction Models...

 For short- and medium-range forecasting, Numerical Weather Prediction products are routinely received from the world meteorological centers: GFS, ECMWF, Bracknell (U.K.), Offenbach (Germany), Washington (U.S.A.). Products derived from a regional numerical model, developed at the JordanWeather™ on the basis of the GrADS program version MM5. A high resolution regional model under development, on the basis of "GFS Models", adapted to Jordan to rise the accuracy of our forecasts.
Here is a brief description for the main models:

* Global Forecast System (GFS):
Description: Which is known for GFS model. This model is the most accurate model on the web for the Middle East. GFS produce many parameters that's the forecasters need, with resolution of 0.6 degree. GFS runs four time daily 00Z and 12Z (main), 06Z and 18Z and give data up to 384 hours.
Update: 4 times per day, from 3:30, 09:30, 15:30 and 21:30 GMT

* German Weather Service Model DWD (GME/offenbach):
Description: Known for the OFFENBACH Model, and this model give 72HRS free and after that there is a must to pay to get the data. The OFFENBACH model in the winter is very accurate, and sometimes it's being the most accurate. The main problem for this model is that it's issued is only 00Z and 12Z and give every 12HRS for 4 days and after that give every 24HRS.
Update: 4:30 GMT and 16:30 GMT

* UK Met Office Model (UKMET/Bracknell):
Description: Known for Bracknell or UKMO. Also this model issued twice a day 00Z and 12Z for 144HRS. UKMO Also Known for the very accurate Medium and Long-range forecast and a good signal in the very active and violent cold systems in the winter in the near future as the ECMWF.
Update: 7:00 GMT and 19:00 GMT

* European Center for Medium-range Weather Forecasts Model (ECMWF):
Description: Known for ECMWF model. This model issued twice a day 00Z and 12Z. ECMWF Known for the very accurate Medium and Long-range forecast and a good signal in the very active and violent cold systems in the winter in the near future.
Update: 10:00 GMT and 23:00 GMT

*MM5 Model:
Description: A new model issued from a project done between NASA and Tel-Aviv University. This model gives variables data, but the most accurate data is the rainfall.
Update:
No specific time, but there is 2 updates 00z and 12z, so usually it updates in morning and in the night.

*WRF Model:
Description: The weather data is produced using The Weather Research & Forecasting Model (WRF), which was developed by the National Center for Environmental Prediction (NCEP) and the National Center for Atmospheric Research - both United States’ research institutions. This weather model is the latest forecast model to be developed by NCAR and NCEP, and it represents a step above those used previously.
Update:
twice a day for the morning and evening.

*SKIRON Model:
Description: This is a weather forecasting system initially developed for the Hellenic Meteorological Service and now being in operational use in 17 other sites worldwide. It is based on the ETA/NCEP model.  One of the capabilities of the SKIRON system is forecasting the snow accumulations, and the other is the GFS data, so we provide in the site only the snowfall parameter.
Update: During dawn hours.

* JordanWeather™ Forecast For Companies:
  JordanWeather™ forecast-team will start to give up-to-date forecasts to companies that need forecasts such as, schools, tourism offices, engineering-companies, TV and Radio Stations.

* JordanWeather™ Seasonal Rainfall:

Seasonal rainfall forecasts are routinely prepared every year at the beginning of July and issued every month, and the issued primarily at the beginning of November to the public and related bodies and authorities.
